Terms of Service
By using myHelix, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English. Please read them.
1. The service
myHelix is a patient-owned medical-record storage and AI-assisted clinical brief generation platform. You upload your medical records; AI parses them; you share access with doctors you trust. myHelix is operated from India under DPDP Act 2023.
2. Not a medical service
myHelix is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
The AI brief generated by myHelix is a structured summary for clinician review only. It is not a diagnosis. It is not a prescription. Every clinical decision must be made by your licensed doctor after reviewing the original source records. myHelix is not liable for clinical decisions made by you or your doctor based on the AI brief.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. Younger users must be enrolled by a parent / guardian.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and OTP confidential.
- You must not share your account with others.
- You must provide accurate information. False information may result in suspension.
4. Patient ownership of data
You own every medical record you upload. We do not sell, license or transfer your records to third parties for any purpose. We process them only to provide the service you signed up for.
5. Sharing with care team
You may grant access to doctors and hospitals by adding them to your care team. You set the scope of access. You can revoke at any time. Every grant and revocation is logged in an append-only consent ledger you can inspect.
6. Subscription and payment
- Free tier supports basic record storage and one care-team link.
- Paid tiers (Family Monthly ₹999, Family Yearly ₹9,999, Premium ₹2,999, NRI ₹4,999, Doctor Seat ₹15,000, Hospital Whitelabel ₹50,000) unlock additional capacity.
- For the current phase, payment is via direct UPI to our registered business UPI ID. We mark your account as paid after verifying the transaction.
- Refund: pro-rated refund available within 7 days of payment if you have not generated any AI briefs.
- Cancellation: you can downgrade or cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- GST: applicable taxes are added to all paid plans per Indian tax law.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Upload medical records belonging to anyone other than yourself, your family members under your care, or those for whom you are a legally authorised caregiver.
- Attempt to access records you have not been authorised to view.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape or copy the platform.
- Use myHelix for fraudulent insurance claims or any unlawful purpose.
- Upload malware or any content that may compromise the platform.
Violation may result in immediate suspension and legal action.
8. AI brief accuracy
The AI brief is generated from documents you upload using the Anthropic Claude model. We cite every claim back to its source document. We run a safety check on each brief. Despite this, AI output may contain errors. The clinician reviewing the brief is responsible for verifying it against original records before making any decision.
9. Service availability
We target 99.9% uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced 48 hours in advance. We are not liable for unavailability caused by force majeure (internet outages, regional cloud provider failures, regulatory action).
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, myHelix is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability in any 12-month period will not exceed the fees you have paid to us in that period.
11. Termination
We may suspend your account for breach of these terms after written notice. You may close your account at any time. On closure, your data is deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Before approaching court, both parties shall attempt resolution through our Grievance Officer (Dr Anil Bhatt — bhatt@myhelix.cloud).
